Our products are meant for fun and special occasion wear. They are pieces of jewelry, and should be treated as such. They are not meant for strong dogs that like to pull, chew, roll around, and live outside or rough house. They cannot be worn in the water.
This is not an every day collar. If your dog pulls hard when walking then you should not use this collar for walking. Please purchase a strong "bridle" leather or nylon collar to use for every day walks and enjoy your new Bling! Collar for special occasions.
If you do want to walk your dog with this collar we suggest that you use the D-Ring on the bottom of the collar near the buckle, and that the D-Ring in the back should only be used for charms and accessories. The leather holding the back D-ring next to your letters is made of a thinner material and can tear if used with a leash and a dog that likes to pull.
We use gorgeous high quality leather for our collars, but the leather is delicate just like beautiful human shoes made by other designers. Wear your Bling! collars on occasion, love them and take care of them - then they will certainly last for a long time to come!
